Santa Monica Pier

The Santa Monica Pier is a large double-jointed pier at the foot of Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica, California, United States. It contains a small amusement park, concession stands, and areas for views and fishing.^[1]

In 10 years after people, the Pacific Wheel is still lighting up the night but during the day, the pounding of the pier has taken over the years is showing. Maintenance crews constantly replaced the damaged deck planks in the time of humans. Eric Broeske stated that the deck would deteriorate and there will have some sinking building with the elevation sinking through the pier is not all at once but a corner there and another and repeats to the other and the buildings just basically sink through the pier. Meanwhile, the nightly light show of the Pacific Wheel comes to the end and despite the solar panels and most of the LED lights were expected to last 20 to 25 years, a decade without maintenance have the system's inverter to finally fails and the light shows darken and end.

In 50 years after people, the Santa Monica Pier is crumbling in a devastating waves of a winter storm that tears it apart and the rusting Pacific Wheel is in trouble as powerful waves and strong winds wipe out most of the wheel but the A-frame shape remains. Eric Broeske stated that even if the Ferris wheel is gone, the A-frame would still be there for 100 years because it's a stout structure and it's an A-frame that is just very strong in the shape of a triangle.
