Radio is the technology of signaling and communicating using radio waves. Radio waves are electromagnetic waves of frequency between 30 hertz (Hz) and 300 gigahertz (GHz). They are generated by an electronic device called a transmitter connected to an antenna which radiates the waves, and received by another antenna connected to a radio receiver.[1] Radio broadcasting is transmission of audio (sound), sometimes with related metadata, by radio waves to radio receivers belonging to a public audience.[2]

The show then explains that nearly 15 thousand radio stations once beamed news, talk shows, and music across the United States alone, everyday. Without people, the power begins to fails, causing the rest of the radio broadcast across the United States and the world to ceased and signs off.

Although most radio stations ceased, only a few remains like in the case of a solar-powered station KTAO, where it last 15 years when the cooling fan to halt, causing the computer overheats and the signals to screech and fail.
