One Shell Square, now known as Hancock Whitney Center, is a 51-story, 697-foot (212 m) skyscraper and it is the tallest building in both the city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana.[1]
Coverage[]
One Shell Square is featured in Waters of Death in 300 years after people.
It is stated that the One Shell Square has lasted the longest in the flooded marshlands of New Orleans. While its windows are gone, the structure remains. As spoken by Mike Folse, the building owes its longevity having its steel columns incased in concrete, causing it to be fairly well protected. But water corrosion has degraded the pilings and corrodes the building for 300 years with more than 20 major hurricanes have wiped around it's wall and girders.
It is revealed that a final category 4 hurricane proves too much to One Shell Square, with wind and waves cause the tower to hurtling down to its base, sealing its fate.
