Oglethorpe University is a private university in Brookhaven, Georgia. It was chartered in 1835 and named in honor of General James Edward Oglethorpe, founder of the Colony of Georgia.[1]

In 10 years after people, the once manicured grounds are choking under kudzu and wild poinsettia and the buildings are covered in kudzu that spread across Georgia. However, the granite building holding the Crypt of Civilization still stands secure.
In an unknown timeline, the buildings of Oglethorpe University would eventually collapse and remain unrecognizable, with the basements of the buildings to be remain including the Crypt of Civilization where its long buried. On May 28, 8113, the time for the Crypt of Civilization to be opened, the Oglethorpe University is just a blanket of grass and trees but for the crypt itself, water and dank air seized the opportunity once the crypt walls cracked and the invade, causing the items within the time capsule to corrode and decay.
