The Niagara Falls is a set of waterfalls located on the American/Canadian border where the Niagara River flows over the Niagara Escarpment. The Niagara Falls consists of the Amercan Falls and the Canadian Falls which are divided by Goat Island. Formerly used for hydroelectric power, what will nature turn this waterfall into in a life after people?
1 month after people: In the time of humans, hydroelectric power plants along the Niagara River diverted a large amount of water away from the falls and severly limited the amount of water that went over the falls. But one month after people the Niagara River hydroelectric power plants shut down due to a lack of energy demand and the Niagara Falls are returned to their old capacity. This sudden increase in water causes the Maid of the Mist docks to be blasted away.
60 years after people: A lake freighter loaded down with iron ore has become beached above the Canadian Falls. Another unloaded laker breaks in half as it goes over the Canadian Falls.
1,500 years after people: The Canadian Falls have eroded upstream of Goat Island and the American Falls have run dry.
