The Maid of the Mist is a sightseeing boat tour of Niagara Falls, starting and ending on the American side, crossing briefly into Canada during a portion of the trip.[1]

In 1 month after people, the Maid of the Mist ship at the docks on both side still continue to float along the river as Niagara Falls continues to supply a pair of plants to divert it away from the falls, but after people it is about to change. Ginger Strand stated that without people to use the electricity, the substations that accept the electricity coming from the Niagara power plants to stop sending any power and the plants would automatically begin to shutdown. As the plants turn off, the intake tunnels close and water would no longer be pulling water out of the river causing it to rise 13 feet almost instantly and doubles the flow of water over the falls. As the river rises downstream, the Maid of the Mist docks being the launch point for up-close views of the falls for over 150 years, gets flooded and blasted away as the docks is destroyed and the ships move further inland.
