The Los Angeles Aqueduct is a water conveyance system, built and operated by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. It comprises the Los Angeles Aqueduct and the Second Los Angeles Aqueduct.[1]

Coverage[]

The Los Angeles Aqueduct is featured in The Capital Threat.

It was introduced in 3 weeks after people when the lush image of Los Angeles is getting a facelift and in the time of humans, LA residents used 137 gallons of water per person per day with more than half used to water lawns and plants. 87% of the water came from faraway places, and a large percentage came from the Owens Valley, hundreds of miles to the north, with the usage of the Los Angeles Aqueduct. Fred Barker stated it carries 125 million gallons of water a day and it is a major part of the water supply for Los Angeles.

The water travels through a series of power-generating plants. However, when the power plants stop working, the Los Angeles Aqueduct also stops. The water then backs up and begins creating new reservoirs, but denying the city its main water source. Fred Barker stated that without people, there will be no one to control the outflow of the reservoir and no one to control the water.
