The Flame goes out for eternity.

The JFK Eternal flame was located in Arlington National Cemetary outside of Washington D.C. It marks the gravesite of President John F. Kennedy. In the time of humans it was only extinguished once, when a group of Catholic school children accidentally poured holy water over it. Since then it has been kept alight by an electric relighting system.

2 months after people, The Eternal Flame is not so eternal, when the D.C. power grid failed the electric relighting system did also. Now the first rainstorm snuffs the flame for eternity.
