Life After People: The Series is an American documentary television series based off the documentary film Life After People, intended as a spin-off to the documentary. It began premiering on April 21, 2009 on History. The series ends with Season 2 on March 16, 2010. The series features material not previously mentioned in the original documentary film (or expanding on it) and expands to other contents left behind by man. Each episodes in the series explores at least one abandoned locales each across the globe.

Season 1 explores different contents like the attempted immortality and bodies left behind by man, an immediate outbreak by nature, threat to the capital, the life expectancy of metals, invasive species, artifacts from the bound and buried, the gambling meccas, the military and the civilians, the automobiles and road domination, and man attempts to defend against water. it continue with Season 2 after about six months.

Season 2 similarly explores like Season 1 except the contents being different like worship to god, an imminent toxic spill, time capsules, food related, home related, holiday related, destruction from the waves, attempted domination of the skies, attempted domination of the underground, and the home of world leaders across the world.
